Pharmacy Terms
Just like our website’s terms and conditions, we’ve provided a simple summary below. For detailed legal information, please read the full text.
London Weight Loss Clinic works with an online healthcare provider to receive your order and a licensed pharmacy to prescribe and dispense your order. It’s important to give accurate health information, follow medication directions, and tell your GP about any new prescriptions, including those from London Weight Loss Clinic, our online healthcare provider partner, and its partner pharmacy. The pharmacy aims to process orders within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends, but please be patient if there are delays. Orders cannot be cancelled, and medications cannot be returned, so make sure all details are correct before ordering.
To buy medications from our online healthcare provider partner (the “Healthcare Provider”) trading as Medicspot, owned and operated by Outcome Diagnostics Ltd, registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ, company number 13190700, you must first register. By registering with the Healthcare Provider, you confirm that your personal data is true, current, and complete. You agree not to register more than once, not to register or fill out forms for anyone else, to follow the instructions for each medicine, and to tell your healthcare provider about any new prescriptions or changes to existing ones. If they change, update your registration details by emailing customerservice@medicspot.co.uk.
The Healthcare Provider uses third-party service providers to check your identity. By registering and buying medication, you agree that these providers can do necessary searches, including looking at your credit record, to verify your information. You also agree to their privacy policy regarding your personal data.
The clinicians the Healthcare Provider works with are registered in the UK with the General Pharmaceutical Council and are qualified to prescribe medications online. They are responsible for the prescriptions they issue. Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, pharmacy medicines are supplied by the Healthcare Provider’s partner pharmacy (the “Pharmacy“) operated by The Independent Pharmacy, who are owned and operated by ABSM Healthcare Ltd, registered office: Units 19-20 Bonville Business Centre, Dixon Road, Brislington, Bristol, BS4 5QR, company number 08515600, and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, number 9011543. Contact by email: support@theindependentpharmacy.co.uk, or by phone: 0333 2200 519.
The current registered Superintendent Pharmacist is Mr Ant Boysan BPharm (GPhC No. 2047716). The Independent Pharmacy’s prescribers include:

You can check the Pharmacy’s registration and pharmacists’ information on the GPHC website.
When you order medication from the Healthcare Provider, they will send your questionnaire answers to the Pharmacy. A registered pharmacist will dispense the medication or contact you if they have follow-up questions. The contract for the sale of pharmacy medicines is between you and the Healthcare Provider’s Pharmacy. Their prescribers can accept or decline orders based on their review of your questionnaire. If the medicine is not suitable, you will be notified, and a refund will be issued within ten working days. Any complaints about the prescription should be directed to the Pharmacy and/or the medication manufacturer.
The pharmacy’s prescribers aim to respond within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends after receiving your completed questionnaire and payment. These timelines are guidelines and cannot always be guaranteed.
By placing an order, you agree to an assessment of your suitability for medicines. You will not have the right to cancel your order under consumer protection laws, including The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The Healthcare Provider may consider cancellation requests at its discretion, but orders are typically non-refundable.
The Healthcare Provider’s weight loss plans, which include prescription medication, are billed monthly on a rolling subscription to prevent treatment gaps. You can cancel your subscription anytime, but orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once payment is taken because they are immediately sent to the Pharmacy. You will be notified of upcoming payments in advance. The Healthcare Provider reserves the right to change the price of its monthly subscription and will inform you via email. A subscription does not guarantee a prescription; all prescriptions are checked for suitability by a licensed prescriber, and the Healthcare Provider’s Pharmacy partner may reject orders. In such cases, you will be refunded for any undelivered medication.
The Healthcare Provider is not responsible for delays outside its control. If there is a delay in the supply of medicine due to external factors, the Healthcare Provider will contact you and try to minimise the delay, but the Healthcare Provider is not liable for such delays.
The Healthcare Provider cannot accept any returned medicine. However, if you want to return unwanted medicine to the Healthcare Provider’s Pharmacy at your own cost, the Pharmacy will dispose of it according to regulations. Please contact the Healthcare Provider if you intend to return any unwanted medicines.
Please ensure that no one else has access to any medicines the Healthcare Provider provides to you and that any medicines prescribed in advance are not used beyond their expiry date. Also, please tell the Healthcare Provider if you experience any side effects.
By registering on the Healthcare Provider’s site, you acknowledge that the Healthcare Provider may keep your electronic patient records, including personal information, communications, and treatments, for at least 8 years after your last consultation. Refer to the Healthcare Provider’s Privacy Policy for further information.
